The built environment, urban processes, and experience all work together to create the spatial environment of a city. Many spaces, especially those that appear be ‘leftover’, do not reflect set concept but are constantly questioned recreated. Recognizing leftover spaces in an is important aspect redevelopment process. Researchers have highlighted difficulties, circumstances, relevance making good use space. To accomplish environmental social benefits, these places can created, changed, incorporated into main fabric; however, there scarcity knowledge on how go about constructing such environments. This study explores visual perception two groups people, with other educational backgrounds regarding Wellington City. research, which employs mixed approach, consists three studies, beginning preference better understand human perceptions, might lead design solutions. second looked at differences preferences across non-built participants.
